SENIOR

Full benefits at both national and branch levels for your hunting club membership. Enjoy access to the NZ Hunting & Wildlife magazine digital copy, branch newsletters, national newsletters, and advocacy updates. As a senior member, you will be eligible to enter national and branch competitions and join committees. This membership also includes liability insurance.

FAMILY MEMBERS

Family members, including the partner, child, grandchild, or sibling of a 'full member,' must be associated with the senior member. Children, siblings, and grandchildren need to be under 18 years of age as of 1 March of the current financial year. Each family member will receive a personal membership card, which includes hunting liability insurance. 

**Some branches may impose a local fee per family member in addition to this amount, so check with your Branch's Membership Secretary to confirm.**

JUNIOR

As per senior membership guidelines, juniors must be under 18 years of age as of 1 March. They receive full benefits apart from voting rights, making this a great way to join NZDA at a young age.

ASSOCIATE

An associate can gain access to branch facilities and activities only. This membership type excludes the NZ Hunting & Wildlife magazine, national level competitions, voting rights, and insurance cover.

AFFILIATE ('Friend of Branch')

This category mirrors the senior membership benefits but requires you to be a full member of another branch. You must provide your membership card as proof to take advantage of these perks.

STUDENT

As a student member, you receive benefits similar to those of senior members. However, you must be attending a tertiary institute or undergoing an apprenticeship, with proof of study provided.

SUPERANNUATE

Superannuates, or those over 65 years old as of 1 March, enjoy full benefits in line with senior membership.
